Roadblock! The overhang on the drawer prevented the drawer slide hardware from extending and my drawer got stuck inside the cabinet. After more than 20 minutes of careful maneuvering and a few choice words the drawer was finally free. There was no way I was putting that drawer back in so I had to come up with a solution.

Drawer slide adjustments are done via oval shaped screw adjustments found at the back of drawers. Fit your slides or wheels into the cabinet and slide the drawer in the cabinet and move it back and forth a few times.
Where are the side mount slides on a cabinet?
You will find markings DL (drawer left) AND DR (drawer right). You will also see pieces that connect your drawer to the cabinetry marked with CL (cabinet left) and CR (cabinet right). Side mount slides have a tab or lever which will release the drawer typically located about halfway down the side of the drawer when in the open position.

Why is my cabinet door not closing properly?
If the doors have non-adjustable hinges and one of them wasn’t installed correctly, the door won’t be level and won’t close properly. To reset the hinge, you’ll have to move it a very short distance. To avoid driving the screws into the existing holes, you should fill them with epoxy wood filler.
